Hello, friends!
Do you want to make a beautiful 12×12 layout or a card with the Doodles & Dashes Collection? Keep reading this “Teach Me Tuesday” post to learn more!
Jil shows us how to pull specific colors from the collection to compliment our photos.
“I’m in love with the muted gray-blues and ochres in the Doodles & Dashes Collection! My boyfriend is fostering an orange tabby kitten, and this little beauty met my dog, Hazel, recently.
Besides wanting to tell the story of their developing relationship, I wanted to showcase the gorgeous ginger color of both creatures with lots of the Doodles and Dashes Memory Keeping Papers and washi tape from the kit, along with watercolor in the Doodles & Dashes color scheme.
Watch my video to see me explain how I designed the page with watercolor along the edges of the cardstock, photos of different sizes, organically cut strips of paper, lots of handwritten journaling at the bottom of the layout, a mixed alphabet title, and stamping, die-cuts, and stickers for playful embellishments.”
If you love cardmaking, then you will definitely want to see how Tiffany created this stunning card.
