A touch of Spring in Fall.

Hello lovely Daisies!

It’s Kylie back today sharing some of my October planning. If you are like me, from the Southern Hemisphere, you are just starting to enjoy some warmer temps and starting to put the Winter clothes away for another year! When I first received the October planning kits I fell in love with the whole colour combinations and the pumpkin theme. There was however a gentle nudge to Autumn in the theme and since we are the opposite….. Spring here, …… I decided to share how I added a touch of Spring into my planner whilst still enjoying the theme as it is.

I took foreverrrrrrr to decide on a planner binder to use. In the end I chose my personal size, Websters Pages Mustard Suede planner.

I start the month with a custom dashboard I made from the exclusive papers and added one of the quote cards.Simon and Betty were a printable from earlier in the year.

I went to our local Dollar store and purchased some flat adhesive flowers in keeping with the colour theme for the month. I’ve added these to lots of different pages in my planner.

On my monthly pages I added some punched leaves and mini blooms made from the exclusive papers. I have centred the flowers with some of the enamel dots that came in the September 12 x 12 Memory Keeping kit. I’ve also stamped some mini flowers using stamps from past kits.

Wherever there was a direct reference to Autumn in my planner I added some die cuts or punched shapes over the top of it, such as the heart to the bottom left hand corner:,

Same thing applied for this dashboard.Where it was in reference to Autumn on the top half, I added some of the striped exclusive paper and some stickers.I also finished it off with another flower on the pumpkin.

Using papers from the September Memory Keeping kit I added some punched blooms and flower stamps to my weekly pages. The colours really popped!

I’ve made some extra dashboards with intermixing papers from both the planning kit and the September Memory Keeping kit. The flower I used a die for and I have added some of the cute Pumpkin Die cuts to it.

I also made some planner pouches from the printed vellum in the planner kit. These are so easy and I have finished them off with you guessed it….More flowers. They were also a perfect size for housing the Cocoa Daisy sticker sheets.

If you would like to see how I made these pouches I have filmed a short tutorial here:-

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you have enjoyed seeing my latest planning.

Until next time,

Kylie.

Wow! I love how you were able to twist the whole feel of the kit by adding some little flowers here and there! Thank you so much for sharing!
