Scrap Space tour

Hey Daisies!! I am excited to be on the Cocoa Daisy blog with my first post and a share of my humble scrap space!

I like to think I have every person’s scrap space. I share a spot in our basement common area and so I try to keep it fairly clean and most items hidden for when we have guests. I scrap on a fold down table in front of our computer desk and have a lot of IKEA items to organize my stash! It’s nothing fancy, but it is enough space for me to do what I need to do.

As you can see, I have a wall of EXPEDIT bookshelves from IKEA that house most of my scrap stuff. I have several baskets to house my DT goodies and paper holders for my patterned paper addiction.

My 5 yr old daughter likes to craft with me, so she has a small IKEA table to one corner… yes, on my dusty treadmill… *ahem* but that way we each have our own creative area 🙂

I have several things on my bookshelves to keep things tidy, including wicker baskets for packaged items and glass jars that hold twine, buttons, wood veneers and smaller items.

Although I love my shelving units, I could not live without my ALEX cart from IKEA. It is on casters and I can roll it where I need. It allows me a little more counter space and houses TONS of my scrap stuff, tools, etc.

I have several small baskets in some of the drawers to hold more smaller items like brads, tags and clothespins. It really holds a ton of stuff and the shallow drawers are just perfect for scrappers!

A few weeks ago, a friend of mine bought a shoe rack to organize her scrap desk – I loved it so much, I had to track one down myself for my scrap space. Now, it houses my Silhouette Cameo and my laptop, and allows me a lot more space on my desktop! It’s basically amazing 🙂

Thanks for joining me for my first post on the Cocoa Daisy blog and peeking into my scrap space!

Great space Nicole! That Alex cart has been on my wish list for the next trip I make to IKEA. Can’t wait until one opens up closer to home!

Love your space Nicole!!! Are those cropper hoppers that are holding your paper in your expedit? If so, how did you get them to fit, I couldn’t fit mine in my expedit.

The only thing I see missing is me scrapping with you!

I loved your tour. Felt like I was there! And love that IKEA shelving and rolling draws.

Thanks for sharing where all the magic takes place!
