Mini Book Madness | Boho Garden

Good Morning and happy Monday to all the Daisies! Another month has come to an end and that means another closer look at the minis of the month. In the June gallery I posted a little peek at the cover of my Seattle mini with a hint of more to come. To be honest, I hadn’t yet gone to Seattle when we first posted the June gallery, but the trip had been planned. And, it turned out to be such a fun one with lots of new favorite photos.

Let’s get on with the mini. 🙂 The entire base of the mini is leftover packaging from the June kit and add ons. Some covered completely with paper and photos and others showing the fun package colors and graphics.

The front and back cover are KI Memories packaging with a large glassine bag filled with sequins and stitched closed.

These wood veneer were in my stash and I spray painted them gold, just like the Hello wood tag on the cover.

I journaled right on the photo with a permanent pen from Zig and the washi tape is from my stash. I really loved all of the strip words in the June kits from Teresa Collins and KI Memories.

This pocket page was a big Heidi Swapp package that I covered, mostly, with paper and stitched closed with my sewing machine. (the black & white stripe is from the packaging)

Here’s peek at the tags in the pocket. There are the perfect size for the Instax photos and more journaling. The washi is from my stash and the “xoxo” from the Jun printables.

This page is the folder the photo from the Great Wheel came in. A BasicGrey attach me sticker (from a past kit) provides the hole I needed to include the folder without punching a hold in it, or the photo inside. The arrow clip, from my stash, holds the folder closed and keeps the photo inside safe and sound.

The back of the Great Wheel folder is a perfect spot for several more photos.

The long Amy Tangerine package backing was perfect for the city map I picked up in Seattle. I adhered the back of the map to the packaging, so it can still be opened, and added another arrow clip, from my stash, to hold it together.

More photos on the back of the Amy Tangerine package backing.

And, the back cover. This time stitched with the sewing machine.

I hope you have enjoyed my mini book made from the packaging we would normally just toss in the trash and are inspired to make your own.

Happy Monday!
