August – Project Life

Hey, All! Don’t you just LOVE the August DITL kit?

Such a fun kit, right? I LOVE all the colors and the great combo of the exclusive cards and the Fancy Pants cards. So awesome! ๐Ÿ™‚

The design team did such a great job creating Project Life spreads with all this awesome stuff!

First up is Anna.

Anna is pretty new to PL style scrapping and she approach is so fresh and fun! I just LOVE this spread. I love all the stitched photos on the white cards. It just looks so cool!

Next up is Denise.

Denise did a 12×12 pocket page layout this month, too, but I really was drawn to this 12×8 spread she created about herself. I love everything about this, Denise! And, if I could be guaranteed my grey would grow out with such a ย beautiful ombre effect, I would do it in a heartbeat! Us May girls from 1967 need to stick together! ๐Ÿ™‚

Next up is Patricia.

ย I just love your spreads every month, Patricia! They are always fun and colorful and full of fun little details. This month I love that you used the Simple Stories overlays, not only over photos, but pattern papers. Such a cool I idea and they look awesome! ๐Ÿ™‚

Suz is next.

This month I really love that Suz cut out the “Best Day Ever” circle from one of the exclusive 3×4 cards and layered it over a photo. Awesome! Suz, your PL spreads are always so inspiring to me. ๐Ÿ™‚

Last up is me.
week-19-01
This month I took a simpler approach and what I love it that I don’t feel it looks simple. The Simple Stories overlays layered over just a photo are just the right touch and makes getting a spread done in record time easy! I also have a few cards with little added to them and they still do so well with the more detailed and “dressed up” cards.

There you have it! Our look at the August kits used to create our PL spreads. I can’t wait to see all the awesomeness you all create when your kits start arriving. ๐Ÿ™‚

Have an awesome day!

Alissa

It’s good now, Arleigh. I accidentally posted it last night and then changed it to post this morning.
