August Inspiration

Hello all! Suz back with this month’s inspiration post! This month I was really inspired by the adorable birdie stamps in the kits and they found themselves popping up on several cards I created. They are just so adorable, aren’t they?! And this is just one set!

Here are some of the ways I put the bird stamps to good use:

Repeating the same stamp in a repetitive pattern can add movement to your design. You could also first, second, (and third!) generation stamp to give your design an ombre effect.

Here I have used a 4×6 DITL card for the base of my design and stamped several of the adorable little birdies along the “horizon line” of the card. I used the negative space of the diagonal striped pattern to place my sentiment.

I used a watercolor pencil to color in the little red worm.  There are several other inspiring ways to use this month’s stamp collections in the Daisy Designer gallery. Be sure to check them all out if you haven’t already here.

Have an amazing KIT REVEAL WEEK! Be sure to stop in for the chat on Friday, August 28 @7PMCST/8PM EST. (You are “daydreaming” already about it, aren’t you?!)
