November DITL

Well hello there paper peeps! Sarah Bargo here, and welcome to another fabulous feature of the DITL kit! The November Kit was full of bright colors, gratitude, family, and fun patterns! In this post I’m going to share a few fun tips on playing with your DITL kit!

These Are My People

Something fun I always do with my cards is take them and cut them apart and use them to add details to other cards! Such as this photo, I cut apart some words from a piece of ephemera in the kit and glued them right onto my photo! Just adds some special detail without taking away from the picture 😉

this day will never happen again

Cocoa Daisy always designs the cutest cards, so you don’t really have to do anything to them! I’m kind of a freak though and always have to do something to my cards, like here I just added a few stickers and it turned out super cute!

Family Forever

Here I just added some glitter to highlight a few of the words..

Ok sooo I have a confession to make on this next card… I totally covered up a mistake can you tell where it was? I started journaling and messed up aaarrrgghhh have you ever done that?! It’s the most awful thing ever, especially if you only have one of those cards right?! Welll, how did I fix it?

today i am grateful

Super simple! Back to the basics baby- a paper punch! Just punched a big ole heart out of another card and strategically placed it… so thankful it worked!

my crew

I absolutely loved the card that said bless these weirdos, so I cut it out into a banner shape to make it stand out more! I love my weirdos 😉

Bless This Family

Aren’t those watercolory flowers so beautiful?!

Lets take a look at some other amazing DITL projects from the DT this month!

There were some fabulous layouts using the cards, take a look at how Ashli cut hers up to use on the bottom of her page!
