Goal Setting in the New Year

Happy New Year! I hope the new year is treating you well so far. Setting goals at anytime can tend to feel overwhelming but setting them at the beginning of the year sometimes feels rejuvenating. For me, however, I felt beyond overwhelmed! As I reflected on 2017 and thought about where I would like to be at the end 2018, I knew one resolution wasn’t going to cut it. I decided to chunk my life into sections. I don’t know about you but I’m at a point where I need to work on ALL aspects of my life!

Pre-Planning

I started off by jotting down general topics of my life that are important to me. Mine may differ from yours; you may have more or less. That is all up to you! There is definitely no right or wrong way when it comes to figuring out your personal goals. I used the January A5 Unpunched pages for this part along with beautiful surprise PenGem in the planner add-on kit!

I dived deeper into each section and figured out exactly what I wanted to achieve. For example, under health and fitness I wanted to get back to consistently working out and eating better. When it comes to working out, I would like to work out 3-4 times a week. As for eating better, that means making smarter choices when going out and not mindlessly snacking. The more specific, the easier it is to achieve I’ve found.

Planning it all out

I then took a few extra special ones to me and created a fun page in my January standard Daisy Dori! I used bit and pieces from the Memory Keeping pocket kit along with the Classified planner kit. There were so many vivid colors in this kit, it was extremely inspiring to use to set my 2018 goals.

What are some goals of yours for 2018? Share them down below and remember, no goal is too big or small to achieve!

Until next time crafty ones,

Ariana

Oh, I love how you took the very dry and written goals and made this fun spread in your Dori! What a great way to visualize your goals! Good luck on your journey!
