October Sketch Inspiration

Hey daisies! Brooke here!

I was excited to be able to design the sketch this month:

Yes, it’s a simple one!

This grid sketch is something I use ALL THE TIME in my scrapbooking. Sometimes the number of squares/size I use varies but you can never go wrong with a grid!

My fellow design team members have really come through this month with some awesome takes on the sketch:

I am in love with Traci’s embellishment clusters and the way she incorporated larger photos into her layout while staying true to the sketch. The stamping is next level + there are dogs in her photo, how can you go wrong?

Katherine pulled out a pastel colour scheme and it’s completely lovely. I love all the little diecuts throughout!

Opsite documented a Halloween memory (how cute is Tigger??), using ADORABLE diecuts & patterned paper from the September kits. I’m obsessed with the partying skeleton in his little bow tie!

Odessa got very creative with the sketch by converting it into a traveler’s notebook layout. Love it! All of the little details make me happy and I feel like the longer I look at it the more good stuff I notice.

The main thing I changed about the sketch while putting together my layout was the title placement – the chipboard letters were a good fit for the squares so I just tucked the title in the top left grid square. Cozy cozy!

What do you think? Will you be incorporating grid sketches into your memory keeping?
