The updated Modern Memory Keeping Kit inspires our Memory Keeping Team to jump into all kinds of paper crafting endeavors. Today, we’ll share a few of these projects featuring the Denim and Blush Modern Memory Keeping Kit. Let’s see what they created!

April used the Denim and Blush Modern Memory Keeping Kit to document a week in her memory planner.

“I was inspired to try something new with the card stock this month. I decided to run it through my die-cut machine and ended up with gorgeous, unique heart and butterfly shapes to layer. I love their delicate look and pop of color.

To finish the spread, I added a couple of photos, pocket cards, alpha stickers, and die-cuts from the Denim and Blush Modern Memory Keeping Kit.”

The cardstock can be a great foundation for your memory keeping pages, but it can also be cut, punched, ripped, and sewn to make beautiful die-cuts as April has shown here. We love how April used the pocket cards to prompt her journaling, too!

“Hello! I love the addition of the word phrase stickers to the Denim and Blush Modern Memory Keeping Kit this month. They make great journaling prompts, and I was inspired to create a mini envelope journal with four love letters to myself.

First, I chose four patterned papers and used my We R Memory Keepers envelope punch board to make four 3×4 envelopes.

I nested two envelopes together to create one page, and then I stacked both pages on top of each other. I used a three-hole pamphlet stitch to secure the pages together.

 

Then, I cut the 6×8 ledger patterned paper into four 3×4 cards for my journaling. The cards easily tuck inside each envelope pocket. During February, we often focus on expressing our love and appreciation for others, but it’s also important to pause and show ourselves some love too. I hope you enjoy this little self-love project and have fun creating!” This envelope journal is adorable and a great way to use the papers and embellishments that come in the Denim and Blush Modern Memory Keeping Kit.

Casie shares a darling layout with a variety of items from the kit.

Hi Daisy Fans! I love the variety of new items that come in the new modern memory keeping kit. In the Denim & Blush kit, the blush ink pad and word strip stickers were stand out items.

I wanted this layout to start in the upper left-hand side and work its way down and across the page. Using the stamp and ink from the kit, I repeated the sentiment “just a thought” at the top of the page and added a few die-cuts too. Don’t forget all the die-cuts are now backed with adhesive!

Using pocket page cards outside of the pockets is a new favorite way to add color and journaling to my pages. This time I created a tip-in and topped the front with the word strip stickers from the kit.
On the right side, I utilized all the fantastic patterned paper from the kit to create a layered backdrop of my featured photo. This layout is one that you can translate into your Simple Dori or on the white cardstock 6×8 papers that are also included in the kit.
