Daisy Love

Good morning ladies.  Hopefully the sun is shining on you wether you still have snow or not!  I do see some early signs of Spring around Missoula.  Some crocus are peeking through and the grass on the hills is turning a bit greener.  I am ready!

This month I want to introduce you to someone who has been sharing her beautiful work with us at Cocoa Daisy for some time.  Meet Anna Eckman or Ami as we know her on the message board.  I just love this photo of her!

Ami

My name is Anna Ekman, aka Ami since almost 20 years. Ami isn´t a french word like Mon Ami, but just a shorter version of Anna Maria. I live in the North of Sweden, by the Gulf of Bothnia, with my husband and two kids, Vidar 10 and Viola almost 8 years old. I work as a teacher in mathematics, science and art. A great combo if you ask me! When I don´t scrapbook, I love to read, go to the gym, go up to the mountains with my family, and (this is hard to admit) watch tv series like Grimm, Vampire Diaries and Arrow.
I have always collected pens, papers, stickers and when I finally found scrapbooking in 2004, I was hooked. My style has changed through the years and have become more colorful and messy, but my cards can be very clean and simple. I love to use stencils, stamps, inks, different pens and pencils on my layouts and I’m always searching for new techniques and new products. Gelatos are my latest obsession. I love my creamy pigment sticks! For the moment, I´m in three design teams, two Swedish stores and one international challenge blog. Scrapbooking isn´t just the documentation to me, it´s about total relaxation and a way to let my creativity out.
I have had a monthly scrapbooking kit since many years back. When Mison decided to end with her Little Yellow House kits, she recommended Cocoa Daisy, and here I am. Once, I ended my subscription, but I was back the very next month. 😉

Please visit her blog and say hello. http://amispyssel.blogspot.com

Ami has a wonderful mixed media style that I just love but she also rocks the simpler style and makes fantastic cards!  Here are some of my favorites from her Cocoa Daisy Gallery.

Okay, here are some more layouts I really liked this month.  There is lots of good stuff so please, check out the gallery and leave some love.  It’s always so nice to receive some high fives from your people!

First up is this beauty by Camanddanismom.  Love the strips of paper and little banners.  Really pretty.

happy Birthday

Next is this fun layout by Shannon.  I really like this background.  The drippy paint and stencil work looks so cool.

Hello March Challenge

This one by jbonomo.  Love all the clouds!

take time

I really like what Laura did with the stamp, repeating the pattern in the paper.  I also really like those hand drawn flowers!

Last on the block is this precious layout by Imperia.  With a photo of a cute baby and a unicorn can it get any better?  I love her fairy tale story!
