Hi everyone, Sharmaine here with this month’s challenge.
Are you ready?!
The challenge is…
1. To include a scribble (could be a stamp, a file cut, hand drawn or something completely out of the box!).
2. Include a star, in any form, on your page.
3. Use 2 fonts for your title.
4. Add some packaging. Doesn’t have to be a whole piece and it can be anything.
5. Add some paint/ink (if you use ink it’s not to include a stamped image, it has to be separate).
Today we have four examples to inspire you!
First up Patricia.
1. Used scribble cut file and stamp.
2. Used star rubons and the star vellum die cut, and the star border.
3. Used 4 fonts, one is using the sketch pens with the Silhouette.
4. Used a piece of the packaging from the Heidi Swapp letters, the black/white diagonal stripe by the word “Apple.”
5. Used Hero Art Paint dauber around the edge of white cardstock, splattered some mists here and there, and used watercolors on a few of the white cut out apples to replace over the cut out.
Lisa’s creation

Martha’s page
“I used watercolors on the stars, I used this month’s scribbles as a digi stamp, there is a peek of the top strip of the Crate Paper packaging from the stickers and I hope I can get away with using that wood veneer @ as my second font!”
And my layout
1. Scribble stamps
2. The gorgeous star Cocoa Daisy paper
3. sticker alphas and plastic alphas.
4. Crate Paper packaging.
5. water colour background and ink splats.
Hopefully this will give you some ideas. We can’t wait to see what you create. Load your link here, in the comments of this blog post, and you’ll have the chance of winning a $10 voucher at the Daisy Boutique. Entries close 10pm Sunday 28th September and the winner will be announced on the 30th.
All these LO’s are truly inspiring. Are we expected to use the Sept kits?
Hi Shannon, you are able to use whatever you want for the challenge. It doesn’t have to be the September kit. So dive into your stash and I hope you enter.
Had lots of fun putting all the pieces together for the Sept challenge!!
