The answer is…..they are all stamps in this months Cocoa Daisy Kits.
Hello, it’s Lisa here today with this months ‘Stamping Sensation’ blog post.
Did you get the answer right?
The stamps this months are fun, really fun. We’ve got some great ideas to share with you. I’ll start off by showing you the actual stamps though.
First of all these cute little houses that come with the December Main Kit. I love that the 2 hearts together make a cloud. Cute!!
With the Day in the life kit you get this set.
As additional stamps, you can also purchase, Steph’s Flowers Stamp.
And this fun Wonky Circles Stamp.
Quite a combination of designs this month. Let’s take a look at how these stamps have been used.
I’m going to start with this LO here made by Mandie using the circle stamp. Mandie cut the stamp apart and layered them to form a different pattern on her page. I think this is such a great design and the wonky circles are so perfect for a kiddie page.
Anna used the same stamp on her LO as a background but it has a comletely different feel and almost looks like a different stamp altogether comparing it to Mandie’s.
A very arty LO from Denise also using the circles as a background stamp. I like how they are so subtle.
Are you ready for more circles? You can see the circles are very popular this month.
Sharmaine frames her photo with her circle stamp. I love how some are filled and some just the outline of the circle.
Something that I really like about seeing all the DT work together is the variation of how the same product can be used so differently. Nicole does that perfectly here. So far we have only seen the circle stamp being used as a background stamp. Until Nicole uses it as holly berries on this Christmas card. Have you spotted the glitter on the berries? I just love this card!!
I’m going to show you now how Alissa used the Flowers stamp with gold embossing powder.
With the gold pieces from the kit and changing the kraft alphas to gold, it give this page a very striking look.
Jody also used the gold embossing powder on her LO but only uses the stamp the once and has cut it out making it appear more as an embellishment on the LO rather a background stamp.
Emily has fun with pineapples this month. Not only with the stamp but with the cut files too. How fun!!!
And now for some cards to finish.
Suz goes sparkly on the pineapple stamp.
And I used the little houses from the main kit on some new home cards. I found that the yellow ink on it’s own when I stamped the sunshine was just a little too pale and bright and the rays of sunshine couldn’t quite be made out. So I lightly inked it with grey first and then went over with the yellow ink. The stamp appeared much more defined this way.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing how the same few stamps have been used in a whole variation of ways.
We hope you enjoy your stamps too when they arrive.
Love these!
I think the circle stamp must have been a favourite this month!! It is so cool. These projects are making me want to get my inkpads and stamps out again!!
