Hello, it’s Lisa here today.
I hope you are enjoying your March Kits.
I wanted to share a mini book with you today that Christine made inspired by the cards in the March ‘Day in the Life Kit’.
This is what Christine says about her book:
”When I saw the cards for this month’s Day in the Life kit I knew they would make a perfect mini album. I didn’t have a specific event to scrap so I just chose a handful of photos from the month of January. It’s a great way to document a lot of everyday moments. The cards made for an easy color palette to work with, soft whites mixed with pops of color. And the Heidi Swapp wood handle stamp was so much fun! I cut a glassine bag in half and used that as my front and back album cover. I sewed the bag shut on one end to create a pocket on my front page.”
Here are some photos of the inside of the book.
I’m sure you will agree with me that this is the most beautiful mini book.
There are even more photos of more pages in the gallery here.
Thanks for joining us today.
Love that little mini album. Thinking I might use this idea with an old Daytimer binder and some journaling cards. Thinking I might do one page for each grandkid. Thanks for the inspiration!
That’s really lovely!
