What do I do with that?

Good Morning, All, and happy Wednesday! I hope you all had an amazing weekend! Happy belated Memorial Day weekend to all of my US friends! 🙂 It was a great weekend here with the June reveal at Cocoa Daisy! The kit this month is just amazing! Such awesome colors and whole packages of fun stuff to play with. My favorite this month was the package of acetate words from PinkFresh. So fun! But, now that you have this whole package of loveliness, what do you do with them?

Well, I’m here to share what I did with them in hopes that they inspire you to come up with some great ideas, too.

My first 2 ideas are on this page. I wanted to use a lot of the words as a background but didn’t want to glue them all down and the stapler wouldn’t really work all over the page. So, I spread gesso all over the cardstock and stuck the words to it.

Then, I decided it needed some pattern. Once the gesso was dry, I used Mod Podge to adhere the beloved polka dot tissue over the entire page. I love how it turned out with the words showing through the tissue on the background.

Second, I stapled one of the words to the photo stack as the title of the page.

On my pocket page, I stapled one of the words to white cardstock and cut it out to make the word stand out. I think I saw that Doris did this on one of her pages, too.

Here, I stapled one of the words to a planner page in my mini book. So, use them in minis and use them in your planners. They don’t add much bulk at all!

Lastly, I stapled one of the word pieces to a shipping tag that I had adhered the tissue to first. Just a different look with the polka dots showing through the word, this time.

You’ll notice the kit also includes lots of papers with multiple patterns and Katheryn created the prettiest page using all those patterns in a fun, unique way. Check it out!

I love all of the hearts! So pretty!

Now, it’s your turn! I can’t wait to see what you all do with the kits when they start arriving soon!

Have a great Wednesday and rest of your week!

Love these ideas! I never would have thought to gesso the acetate to a page…..love how the words fall to the background and the tissue looks fabulous over them; looks great the other way too (tag). Love the idea of a planner page in a mini….AWESOME, is right. Forehead slap here…..backing the acetate to white cardstock, then attach. Look at all those pretty hearts.
