Carefree Tips

Hello!!  It’s Lisa here with my May Kit. I have this layout above today to share with you. It honestly came together in minutes.

The title ‘Carefree’ is so fitting. The photo is of my daughter and I relaxing around the pool at Disney….totally carefree, but at the same time this page was one of those that just fell in to place…once again carefree.

I had decided a few days ago that I was going to use this paper here and that I wanted to cover up the wording. I like it, but I didn’t need it if that makes sense.

So before I’d even chosen my photo…….this was my plan. To pop a square piece of paper in place, add a photo and embellish around.

I’m a big fan of the Cocoa Daisy printables. Do you use them? Again, it’s one of those things that takes no effort. Print and cut out and you have amazing pages with little effort. I love them! But don’t stress if they aren’t quite what you want. Here I cut out one of the ‘To Do’ labels and stuck on my page.

And then I covered up the wording from one of the die cuts from the Classified kit. You could even just add plain white card if you wanted. This was a perfect fit though.

And then just layering and adding bits and pieces from the kit I had my super fast, super easy, carefree page.

I hope you have enjoyed this. I really believe that very often we over think our scrapbook pages. Sometimes it’s so fun to take a step back and just create. DO NOT over think, just do. You’ll be surprised how effortless creating can be.
