June Sketch Challenge

Good morning friends! Katherine here with this months sketch. I wanted to incorporate the beautiful spray ink that was in this months kit. I love how each designer used the ink. Come and check them out below!

I love how Lisa stitched the big circle! Here is what Lisa said: “I love a sketch. I always see a sketch as a starting point. I used a set of 3 photos instead of the 1 square in the centre and I added a circle around the outside. My little cluster on the top left replaces the bunting on the right and that big splodge on the sketch I splashed around some paint after I’d painted my alphas and my circle.”

I love how Marie used the Pom Pom fringe up at the top! (Great minds think alike…you’ll see how I added it to my layout as well! 😉 ) The bit of washi tape was perfect to finish framing out her photo.

Kylie used the the ink and the spray to frame this adorable picture. I love the added layers!!! Here is what Kylie said: “I’ve layered both the ink pad and mist spray together using the stencil to achieve the background.”

Moon Lee did a thin stripe and jounaling instead of the banner. I love how she tucked an extra photo behind her main picture. Also, notice how she altered the alphas with ink.

Estelle watered the ink down to create a puddle effect. I love how she used the the puffy stickers to frame her photos.

Here is a page by Brooke. I love the banners and all of the layers.

Here is my take on the sketch. I love tags…I think I add them on almost every layout! Lol! I love to add journaling or more pictures on the tags. I also used the Pom Pom fringe just like Marie.

Thank you for checking out the blog today. I can’t wait to see what you create with this months sketch. Be sure to tag @cocoadaisy or #cocoadaisyjunesketch2018.

XOXO-

Katherine
