Each month subscribers to either the Papercrafting or DITL kit are treated with a bonus printable and digital cut files. These make fabulous additions to your monthly kit and really help to stretch your stash.
On this layout I used the negative space from a mess circle cut file to create a fun background for my photos. I simply painted it orange and stitched it to my page (a recycled stamped bag, also from my kit). The three white tabs are also from the cut files. I plan on cutting out several of these for future use. I can see myself using them again and again.
I also used several pieces from the bonus printable as well. The “today” circle, “happiness is” label, “date” flag, geotag, aqua arrows, and black label are all from my sheet. I would say I still have tons left, but I’ve almost used the sheet up on other projects. I guess I’d better print another one!
Here is a quick card that I made exclusively with the digital cut files. I simply outlined the elements and wrote my sentiment with a fine tipped sharpie and then watercolored everything before attaching it to my base. Easy peasy! And since it’s created from a digital cut file, I can make several more for all the mother figures in my life.
I hope you’ll join us tomorrow night for reveal! I can’t wait to share with you all the other projects that I’ve created with my May Sage and Mint digital cut files and printable!
