Hello Daisies….Martha here sharing the design behind my favorite project that I created with the February Journal Entry kits.  It’s no secret that I love embellishments, when I dig into a kit they are the first thing that I look through and organize and oooh and aaaah over!  For my With Love layout, I knew I wanted to use lots and lots of embellishments so I decided on a simple grid design to anchor everything.

I created a base for the embellishments from PP from the kit, I balanced 2 rectangles that are approx. 4×6″ each with 1 smaller rectangle that is approx. 3×4″ and my picture.  I then added a couple of of the Maggie Holmes tags to balance and fill the space.  Here is a quick sketch to help illustrate what I did.

Once I had the base of my design created, I filled it up with all of those lovely embellishments.  I used foam pop dots and layering of some of the embellishments to add depth and dimension.
