Hi everyone! Suz with you today to share a bit of my newly renovated scrap space.
It is still a work in progress, but it has come a long way in a short amount of time. Just before our Spring Break here we moved all of the furniture out, had the carpet removed, and had woodgrain porcelain tile installed along with some additional task lighting above my scrap desk. Then it was time to pack for vacation. And then…vacation. Back home again only to find a lovely little clustering of items to find new homes for; items to donate, to sell, and to keep. So, for the past two days I have been working hard to get it all organized, cleaned, and tidied up. I made good progress, but still have much more to get completed. All in good time, yes?! No worries. Be Happy. ‘Cause every little thing gonna be all right. (Thank you Bobbi McFerrin and Bob Marley for helping me keep it all in perspective). 😉
Ok, so, before we get to the video clips, a little DISCLAIMER: I am definitely a novice when it comes to making videos, so I simply took a few video clips using my iPhone (Because, believe it or not, it is the best video recorder we have). I tried to keep the clips short and recorded them in groupings throughout the room. There is no music nor editing done (other than to trim a longer video into shorter chunks for uploading). It is rudimentary at best, but it at least gives you a glimpse into my space more so than static images would do. Also, I have been fighting severe allergies that have been affecting my breathing and sinuses. You will likely note this along with several “whatnots” in my monologue. There, you have it. You have been warned! 😉
So on to the “work in progress.” I hope you find a little tidbit of organizational help along the way. Click on the links below to watch the videos. Feel free to ask questions or to leave comments below. I always enjoy hearing/reading how other’s organize their spaces and products so please do share! 🙂
NOTE: *If you find, for some reason, that you cannot view the video clips, please check that you have software updates completed and current on whatever device you are trying to view them from. If you still have difficulty, I will be also be posting on Twitter, Facebook, and my personal blog located here: Suz’s Blog
