Hello Daisies!

Today I want to share a quick project I put together using elements from the Day In The Life kit and Whereabouts add-on.  I knew as soon as I opened my kits this month that I wanted to use some of the DITL cards to make a mini album.

The only supplies I used other than what was in my kits were 1 binder ring, my favorite tool which is my Tiny Attacher, a little adhesive and pictures printed out 2″ x 3″.  I did run some of the cards through my sewing machine to add some texture, if you don’t have a machine you could do some hand stitching.

I loved layering the vellum embellishments and even added a couple of the vellum cards in with the DITL cards.

I added those pretty gold rub-on stars to some of my photos because I just couldn’t get enough of the gold in the kits this month!

When I saw that ampersand I knew right away it would go in my album!  It already had the hole in the corner so it was super easy to slip it on to the binder ring and add it in.  When layering my embellishments, I approached each card like it was a mini layout.  I like the effect of some of the embellies overhanging the side of the cards, it adds interest and makes you want to peek inside to see more!
