Paper clip storage solution (I)

Hello Daisies! How are you today? I hope you´re doing great.

If you´ve been a Cocoa Daisy subscriber for a while I´m sure you´ll have plenty of pretty paper clips, also some self made, some received in happy mail and many other sources you could get paper clips from. I was storing them nicely in a clear bag, but I felt that wasn´t useful for me. Some days ago I was thinking how I could store my clips in a nice way so that they were handy and I could see them all at a glance, so I came up with this idea of making a storage solution for paper /planner clips, it´s like a mini album but meant to be filled up with some beautiful paper clips. Enjoy!

I made a cardstock structure and then used Cocoa Daisy exclusive papers and others included in February and December´s scrapbook kits, I also used them to make the pockets inside, I attached it all with double sided tape. It´s just a mini album but with more pockets than usual, let´s see the pictures.

This is the cover, pretty simple, just paper, washi included in this month´s planner kit and the alphas are from maggie holmes, included in December´s scrapbook kit.

Opening the structure there´s a pocker on the cover, I placed there some of the paper clips packagings.

The heart confetti paper was included in Feb´s scrapbook kit, I used it for the inside structure, it holds the pockets for the clips. If there´s need for more room there can be added here some more pockets in this front page.

This is the inside, as you can see it´s a very simple structure, just 6 pockets glued to the paper, there´s a space of half an inch between the creases that fold the paper, this is to leave some space in case the paper clips are voluminous.

The length of the pocket is 2.5 inches, 0.5 for the crease and 2 to fit the biggest clips.

This is what it can be seen when turning the first page.

This is the back side, here there could be placed not only more pockets on each, but also another structure, I left room right by this first structure.

The back side.

The view from the top, there´s room for one more structure.

The album wide open 😀

This is what I made for storing paper/planner clips, how do you store your clips? If you´d like to share your ideas on clip storage you can hastag #cdstoreyourclips on instagram and tag @cocoa_daisy and @ladyreverse.

This is soooo cute. For those who have tons, you could make an album for months, quarters or holidays. Thanks for your ideas!

What a great idea! Thank you for sharing! What are the measurements of the paper that the pockets are adhered to?
