Sunsets and Palmtrees!

Hello Cocoa Daisy friends! Katherine, Kiggies5 on Instagram. Today I am here with the May Designers Challenge layouts. The May kit is all about summer, so I challenged the designers to scrapbook their favorite summer memory or their summer bucket list. Come and take a look at what they created, they are picture perfect! 😉

Up first is Kelly’s layout. Oh my goodness…this mask! Lol! “Basically my husband and I were talking on the front porch while on vacation with family. We looked over and saw our daughter sitting in the rocking chair with this incredibly realistic mask on. We still laugh about it!” Come and checkout her process video on youtube, https://youtu.be/S8aop0d0xOc.

I love the bright colors on Suzanna’s page. “National Ice Cream Day! We are all about ice cream in this family so it’s fitting that a favorite summer memory is making your own banana splits on THE day. I challenged myself to use that CD exclusive patterned paper with the bananas – the colors and theme were just perfect for this layout!” Suzanna also is making a process video to accompany this as well. It’s not yet uploaded but will be accessible from her blog or other social media accounts. Go and check her out here, http://lifestrivialities.typepad.com.

Nothing but blue skies! I am loving how Sarah framed her photo with several layers of patterned paper and those cork board pieces from the DITL kit! Eek! Oh how I can’t wait for summer days!

This is summer captured! Look at how Marie used the free printables! Love! Love!

Last up is a layout I made. I used the same patterned sky paper as Sarah, but cut out the clouds. So squeeze the day…don’t be afraid to use the whole sheet or just bits and pieces.  If you haven’t ever been to Nevis, I highly recommend it! It is definitely my favorite summer memory!

Thanks for stopping by. I can’t wait to see what you create! Tag us on social media at #cocoadaisy #cocoadaisymay2017 !

XOXO-

Katherine
