Happy Halloween

Does Halloween happen in your home?

Do you decorate your house?

Here in the UK it’s not a huge thing. It’s more popular than it used to be, but nowhere near as big as it is in the US. We do decorate our home a little, the kids love Halloween. Today I have a little garland to share with you that I have made using the past 3 kits.

I love putting my scraps together and seeing what I have. It’s a great way to make a mini book or a project like this. Just bits and pieces left over and scraps of paper.

Now before I share with you, I must confess that The ‘N’ in Halloween seems to have gone missing since it was made. I can not for the life of me find the alpha set to replace it. So this year we will be celebrating ‘Hallowee’!!

We have a mirror above the fireplace which has little tea light holders. I have secured it here.

I stuck those big alphas on to white card and cut them out to strengthen them a little.

I used some of the Panda Eight printables attached to 3d foam tape.

The little black stars were cut from the Cocoa Daisy paper. That’s been my favourite design of pp this year.

See what I mean about it being a good way to use up all the bits and pieces. The pegs, the flair, the buttons, frames, ribbon….

Everything here is come from a recent CD kit except for the big chipboard arrows. I did ink them using a Prima Chalk Ink from the Dasiy Store though here.   The coverage is great!

Mandie also has a Halloween LO to share with us today. This title is just perfect.

Mandie says ”I made this layout of my little guy using the August kit, “Modern Vintage.” To make the background I used a Sketch file from the Silhouette store and the black sketch pen. I used one of the Sharmaine’s Scribbles cut files to frame the pattern paper and photo.

I hope you have enjoyed our Halloween inspiration today.

Enjoy your Halloween parties at the end of the month.
