June Mini Book fun with Kylie

Hello lovely Daisies!

Can you believe it is June already? This year sure is flying by……Or perhaps I should say flown? Today I am sharing some mini book fun, with a mini album I am working on.I am using many elements from the DITL and scrapbooking kits.At the start of the year I purchased this lovely small, gold album that I have added some mini pocket pages to.I take SO many photos and I wanted to really start getting them in an album.

I love pocket page scrapbooking because it is so fast! The DITL kit cards are always so beautiful and can be used in more ways than just pocket pages. Here is a little look at my completed pages for June:-

June’s Summer theme was perfect for documenting a holiday we had last year.

I loved the paper clips and buttons in this months kits. They made a fun addition to my pockets.

Using soft watercolours I also added some of this months stamps as a gentle background.

I love adding little paper details to my cards also.

You will see I have made my photos fairly small, rather than to the size of each individual pocket.I do this a fair bit so I can layer stickers etc over them. This is just an effect I like but you could print yours to pocket size.

I have also added some typed text as an overlay to some images.

This larger heart was fussy cut from another of the DITL cards before being added as an overlay.

I love alpha stickers! They are a great space filler and add some some interest to your layouts!

I hope you have enjoyed seeing pages from my mini album today and hope it inspires you with some of your own pocket pages.

Until next time,

Kylie.
