Tuesday Inspiration | Remembering Fall

Hello everyone! Suz back with you today to share a bit of Tuesday inspiration with you. Fall colors are at their peak here in the Ozarks, and the leaves are started to make their way to the ground. Therefore, I decided to make this inspiration post about focusing on leaves as a jumping off point in designing. I was perusing Pinterest recently and came across a few lovely images that inspired me to take to creating with October’s Memento kit.

First up, a card, that was inspired by this lovely image:

I decided to use this month’s leaf stamp with gold and moss green inks. I employed first and second generation stamping with the gold ink to give the card a textural feel and I love that there is additional texture to the green leaves due to a bit of incomplete coverage of the inks.  A very simple technique with clean + simple results!

Here are a few more images of leaves/fall that spoke to me:

Here is my second creation that was inspired by the leaf images. Here I used the awesome cut file leaf and added into my layer clusters at the bottom right.

How are you are inspired to create with one or all of these images. Better yet? If you are inspired to create, link me up to your designs in the CD Member Gallery!

Happy Tuesday!
