I used to think I was terrible at cardmaking.  I dreaded the thought of making them as I usually felt disappointed in my results.

That all changed when I started receiving the Cocoa Daisy Kit each month.  I whipped this card out in ten minutes before heading out the door to a birthday party and was completely delighted with it.

I think there are two elements to this creative card reversal.  One is definitely the DITL kit.  The journaling cards make perfect focal points for cards and then embellishing them with the rest of the bits in the kit is just so easy.  The second helpful element is Simon.  Simon is my muse.  Hee.  To see more creative uses of Simon, check out #simonspotting on instagram.  He’s popping up everywhere!
