Hand Stitched Cover and Binding for My Personal Planner Pages

Hello lovely Daisies!!!

How are you today? Ready for fall? Today I want to share with you an idea I came up with. I was looking at my planner pages, those from other months that I didn´t use because some days I don´t write on them and I thought: what about making a little notebook where I can write all the movies I want to watch, quotes I hear and don´t want to forget, movies I want to watch…? So I thought of making this little hand stitched notebook with just a few things from Cocoa Daisy´s planner and scrapbook kits.

It can be used for anything you have in mind, it could also have more pages added, just by removing the thread and stitching again, it´s super simple.

After the pics you can find a whole process video I made to explain it all step by step.

I used two of the september dashboards, they´ve got really good quality paper, I stapled a tab from the die cuts little bag designed by Jaimee.

The tabs written with what I´m going to use them for, I chose books and movies I want to read and watch and will also be used to write some impressions about them.

This is such an easy way to repurpose the leftover papers and it even looks great!

Thanks for your comment Simone, Cocoa Daisy papers are beautiful, so it´s always nice to have something done with our own hands and that´s useful.

I love this! I found this looking for different binding options for this size! I was thinking of doing post screws but I wasn’t sure. You’ve convinced me to try!
