Pocket scrapbooking, or not…

Good Morning, Daisies! Happy Monday and welcome to another beautiful fall week. The leaves are turning beautiful colors out here. I hope fall is turning your world beautiful, too. Those of you lovely Daisies in the southern hemisphere, I hope you’re having a lovely spring day and the flowers are blooming in all their glorious glory!

Today I’ve got a few projects featuring the October Day In The Life kit. I LOVE pocket scrapbooking. LOVE it! Not just the weekly or monthly pocket scrapbooking, but any type or theme. Lately, all of my pocket pages are more single event or story to share. Check out this one about the year it was so, so hot at the pumpkin patch. It was a real Indian Summer day. The colors of the kit went perfectly with my photos of my cute niece baring the heat in her adorable magenta sweater.

On this page, I used a few cards, and pieces from the kit on a traditional 12×12 page.

You can create a title for your page with a quote card and a background for a photo and cluster of embellishments with journaling card.

Next up is Suzanna.

Suzanna went the single event route, too, with her pocket page. The 12×12 pocket pages leave lots of room for telling your story and adding lots of photos. I love that the colors of this page are so different from mine and came from the same kit. 🙂

Finally, I have Suz. She created a pocket page, too.

Suz went with a longer event and I LOVE how she used all the quote cards to create impact on her page. So simple and so awesome! 🙂

Now, tell me, do you pocket or do you not pocket, with the DITL kit?

I can’t wait to hear what you all have to say.

Have an awesome Monday!

Alissa
