Product Focus : The Planner Kit

Can you believe it’s June?! I can’t. This year is flying by, one beautiful Cocoa Daisy kit at a time! Today I’d like to share with you how I’m using the contents of the main planner kit, personal ring bound style!

Here are the contents of the main planner kit for June, full of rich reds and pinks and the perfect hint of yellows for summertime. With a mix of floral prints and bicycle images, this kit just makes me want to get outside more!

First, I’d like to share with you how I’m using “the meat” of the kit, the inserts! I personally love that the inserts are undated; it makes them that much more versatile! In the main planner kit, for the ring bound kits, you get 5 weeks worth of week on two inserts (which I’ll be using for my main planning this month), 5 weeks of week on one page stripe inserts (I’ve used them for a variety of things but will be using them this month for gratitude) 30 daily pages, a year on one page as well as a month on two pages. Here’s a peek at my first week of June!

The main planner kit also comes with tabs to make dividers along with labels (MY FAVE!). Here’s how my dividers turned out for the month! I really enjoy using my silhouette to make a variety of dividers, but this month I wanted something simple and quick. I think it’s amazing you can use a paper cutter with the papers and just a glue stick with the kit contents and get such a clean, yet stunning, set of dividers!

My front pocket contains a lot of the goodies from the kit. Each month, there is usually some sort of paper clip or decoration. You also get a variety of stickers. I have all of that tucked in to my front pocket along with a Simon card. I love having my stickers here for easy access AND they’re a pretty pop of color against the planner itself.

Some months, one of the items included in the kit is a pouch. I LOVE the one included this month; such a bright cheery bag to use for summer. I keep the washi (the floral print is from the main kit this month), notepad to-do post-it notes (all included in the main kit) and some of my favorite pens.

This month, the kit also included an adhesive pen loop. Since the planners I use don’t have a pen loop, this comes in very handy. It matches the elastic on my planner perfectly, too!

The ring bound planner kit also comes with a month on 2 page spread. I love using the front side of this insert for a place to list my monthly goals.

I hope you can see how simple it is use the products in the main kit to get a complete planner setup!

Thanks for joining me again this month!

Happy planning!

OK, I need more help on the tabs that you made. Did you punch them or use your silhouette? Thanks!

Hello! What size planner do you use? I want to purchase a planner kit, but am not sure which size. I’m also needing a planner. I love the size of yours!
