Hey everyone, are you loving the kits as much as I am? Today I am bringing your some stamping inspiration with the August Memory Keeping kits from myself (Odessa) and Marie.
Marie used the stamps all over her background. They look so natural there you’d think the paper came that way!
I made a pocket page layout as part of a mini album of summer camping trips and fun. We just got back from a weekend of relaxing, sun and beautiful night skies so these kits are perfect!
I used stamps on the top two pockets on this layout. On the left one, I stamped the phrase from the 12 x 12 kit on some white cardstock and placed it on the centre of the photo. Above and below it I stamped it again, first in black Staz-On and then using Memento White ink for a shadowed effect.
I used the same stamp set and ink in this pocket, but in a different way. I stamped the stars all over the vellum to make a pattern. I then added one of my favourite die cuts from the kits, a couple of stickers and some subtle shimmery accents. I also punched a hole in the tag and ran some paper strips through it.
Here’s another picture with some darker paper underneath so you can see the stamping a bit more clearly. I really like the subtle white on vellum stamping. I hope you got some inspiration from this post!
