Hello Daisies!
A very Merry Christmas to you all. It’s Kylie here with you today and I’m going to share with you my most favourite supply from the December kits. I was really intrigued when I saw in my 12 x 12 Memory Keeping kit, supplies to create a mini album as well as printed colour instructions from Christine. I LOVE creating mini albums so this was a hit with me from the beginning.
Following Christine’s instructions, I cut my paper bags and tags in half and then punched my holes for the rings with a small hole punch.
TIP: I had to re-punch my holes with a larger sized hole punch as once I got started with my album I kept adding more and more pages.I didn’t anticipate how addictive and enjoyable this would be so my album ended up quite thick making it hard to turn the pages with the smaller holes.
As mentioned above, once I got started I just kept adding pages to include some of the exclusive papers from the pocket memory keeping kit. I love layering lots of various elements on each page and using a variety of different sized photos. Here is a little look at my completed mini album – I will share some of my favourite pages as well. It can be hard to see all the little hidden pockets from my photos so I have filmed a short flip through video also.
I loved adding in to my album a 4 x 6 photo and layering stickers and embellishments over the top.
As I described before, thanks to the little paper bags there are a lot of hidden pockets throughout my album to which I have added a photo tag in.
The beautiful gold Alpha Thickers this month were great for adding phrase words to my pages.
I left one of the included tags in tact to add a small photo to.The string was also included with the kit.
I have printed my photos in black and white theme as I thought that it suited the kit theme better but you could also use coloured photos to suit your own taste.
The pocket cards from the pocket memory keeping kit were great for backing some of my photos. I also added some free hand borders with a black felt tip pen to frame and highlight my pages.
Here is my short video:-
I hope you have enjoyed seeing my mini album today. Until next time,
Kylie
Perfection! Love what you did with this!
