2019 Memory Planner Goals

We are almost into the new year and I love a fresh new planner!  Anyone else enjoy starting fresh in the new year?

With the new year, I rethink my planning and memory keeping goals.  I begin with the end result in mind, the intended audience and the products that I will use.  I create memory planning and faith journaling pages just for me as I enjoy both the process of creating and sharing.  And choosing the products is easy with Cocoa Daisy

For 2019 I will be memory planning in B6 size using the daisy dori trimmed to fit into a mini Happy Planner.  This size is my favorite of all the sizes I have experimented with, it is not too big or too small but just right!

I love how the B6 looks and functions on the disc bound system,  The discs allow me the creative freedom to focus on one page at a time without the pressure of completing a whole dori in a month time frame.  A 100% percent self inflicted guideline.  Does anyone else impose rules on themselves for planning and memory keeping?  I am trying to drop those this year and enjoy the playful creative process.

In the fall, I read the book The Bullet Journal Method by Ryder Carroll and I am intrigued by the concept of daily logging.  The beauty of the disc bound system is if I miss a day (or 4!) of logging, I can just remove those pages.  I plan to journal these daily events on the dori pages which are already decorated beautifully so, for most pages, I just added the date.

Another crafty goal this year is to document my faith journey using Cocoa Daisy products.  For this month I am utilizing the standard Dori.  Next month I will use the new Memory Keeping Travelers notebook subscription so stay tuned for a blog post about that!

Wishing you all lots of Ink to Paper as we plan and document our stories in 2019!!!
