Using watercolour in TN planner + video.

Hi everyone.

Tanti‘s here.

Today I‘m going to talk about the watercolour set that came with the planner add on kit.

I saw in the group that some of you have been enjoying that set.

For you who are not familiar with watercolour, two days ago my friend Cheryl has written

a post on this blog on how to use it.

Now I just want to share how I used the watercolour set in my standard size Daisy dori.

I love using watercolour.

Not only for painting, I use it on some of my scrapbook projects and I also use it for planning

and journaling.

But before I use any new watercolour set, I usually swatch the colours first,

so that I know how the colours look on the paper.

Because it depends on the type of watercolour, sometimes the colours don‘t look the same on paper

as on the palette.

Now here’s what I did with the watercolour.

The first thing I did with it is to colour some elements in my planner or

on the patterned papers that were printed in black and white such as these flowers

and these words in my planner.

This month, Instead of using a highlighter as usual

I coloured my weekend days on my monthly spread with the watercolour.

You can also use it to highlight some appointments just like I did on the pictures below.

I did some paintings in my planner section with the watercolour set.

I added the paintings to fill in the blank space in my weekly spread

as you can see on the pictures below.

I‘ve created one of my journal spreads mostly with watercolour this month.

Here, I painted some flowers.

I also used it to write the title on my journal spread and the title of the challenge list.

Then I added watercolour on the background of my journal spread using the packaging technique

to create some texture.

If you are not familiar with this technique, you can see how to do it in my journal process video

at the end of this post.

I also added watercolour splatter on the spread to get more texture.

I even used the watercolour to create some photo frames.

Well that’s it.

I hope that this post could inspire you to use the watercolour set in your planner and journal pages.

You can see all the updates of my Daisy dori on my IG account.

Thank you so much for stopping by and see you next time.

Enjoy the video.
