TN Tuesday – Circles, Circles, Circles!

Good morning from the Daisy Patch! Kylie and I are here today to inspire you with some layouts featuring circles. There are a ton of circle elements in the Farmer’s Market Memory Keeping kits, and if you take a look through your stash, you may find a wealth of circles like Kylie did, too.  Let’s take a look!

For this layout, my first in the Farmer’s Market TN Memory Keeping booklet, I knew I wanted to use those adorable chipboard milk bottle toppers and some of the circular die cuts.  There were so many to choose from! I picked a spread that didn’t have any artwork on it already, and decided to use the milk bottle toppers as a bottom border.  Here is an overview of the whole spread:

When I laid out the bottle toppers on the white page, it just looked like something was missing.  So I added some gingham ribbon to help it pop. The toppers and the gingham ribbon underneath both came from the Classified Kit: Memory Keeping Edition.

To finish off the top of my layout and balance everything, I used the red gingham washi from the Planner Kit and some circle die cuts from the TN Memory Keeping Kit.  Perfection!

I was really pleased with how this layout turned out – I just love the colors and patterns! Next up, let’s take a look at Kylie’s project for the circles theme:

Here’s what Kylie says about her project:

“I drew inspiration from Christine this month and decided to scrap my stash whilst I wait for my August kits. When I found all these flowers in my stash I saw circles everywhere and decided to create a 12 x 12 layout. My flower clusters are backed by a dual scalloped circle background that I cut from my Silhouette.”

Isn’ this just gorgeous??  The scallops, the florals, the diecuts, the layering – Kylie’s layout is just beautiful!

Thank you so much for joining us today, and we hope you find some inspiration to use in your memory layouts.  Until next time!

xoxo
