Hello Daisies! Anyone on vacation now?
Do you bring scrapbooking supplies with you or you prefer documenting the trip after?
For me, I love scrapbooking at home and it’s like going traveling again when you look at the photos!
Today Evy and I are going to share what we created to record the trips.
First is my 12″*12″ layout, and as you can see, I picked up some papers and items based on the color combo of grey, green, and black.
I especially love the wood grain paper that is suitable for all different theme of photos.
Although the latest kit is food themed, but my photos aren’t, I still managed to make good use of some items, such as labels or tags.
Also, the phrases like “Today’s highlight” or “can’t forget this” can be used for almost anything.
I also love adding some stitching that give more details to the layout.
It actually looks nicer with the heart shape foam stickers and the title cut out from one of the journaling cards.
Let’s take a look of Evy’s project.
She said “When I’m on vacation I tend not to bring many things, I love to take advantage of everything I find. My survival kit consists of a few stamps, simply dori and basic stationery (pens, watercolors, colored stamp pads, a cutter, a ruler, various types of glue) plus some alphabet and of course the photo printer.
Obviously I bring the cocoa daisy kit of the month to get all the coordinated material, I especially love diecuts and stickers.”
“For this project, for example, I simply used the package of the hand cream of the photo (a vegan cream, cruelty free, organic, produced here), the date stamp of this month, 3 diecuts and the marker for the outline, plus the wooden alphabet for the title (this is from my collection).”
I really love how she keeps the pages simple and clean and totally agree with what she said, “Very little material is enough for a project!”
Hope you all have a great weekend ahead!
