Memory Keeping Pick-a-Size Friday

Hello fellow crafters,

Today Moon, Sabrina and I are sharing our pick a size designs with the Farmer’s Market and Book Club kits. Let’s take a look at Moon’s lovely design.

Moon is on holiday and doesn’t have the Book Club kits with her and so she created this awesome card with pintables from the Book Club and some of the pocket cards from the Farmers Market kits.

She notes, “I have the printable sheet with me and it’s perfect to make a card on the go. I love how the pintables and journaling cards work together!” Moon’s designs are always elegant and soft.  I really like the dimension she gave to this card by stacking many of the printable elements.

Sabrina created a planner design for her pick a size design.

I love her mix of stickers, die cuts, and patterned paper as well as how Sabrina incorporated a sheet of that cute notebook paper! This is such a cute combination of memory keeping and planner kit items!

The final design for pick a size Friday is a love letter to books that I wrote earlier this week. I created my title using Modern No. 20 font cut with Silhouette Cameo on patterned paper from the Book Club Travelers Notebook kit. I backed the letters with several cuts of my title on scrap paper. The letters in the words are all at different heights.

Then I added some of the die cut ephemera from the planner kits and stamped a phrase on the open book die cut at the top of the left page. I also used the book stack stamp from the pocket kit partially inked for the bottom right side of my letter with another die cut on top.

It felt good to talk about how much I love and miss reading for the pleasure of it and to put those thoughts and feelings in the traveler’s notebook I am using to document reading adventures. I’m really excited about this TN album because it’s a different approach from simply documenting each book I read and I am using an unstructured album which gives me the ability to create a variety of pages from simple to highly textured just like the design I am sharing today.

We hope you enjoyed seeing our designs and that we gave you lots of ideas for your kits!

XO,

Robin, Moon, and Sabrina
