Hi everyone! Odessa here with a mid week boost – some Traveler’s Notebook pages from the team using some of the cute coffee themed things from the Book Club Kits!
First up is Kristine getting ready for her first week back at school with this page all ready for writing!
Kristine says ”
Even after 19 years of teaching, going back to school in the fall stirs up a variety of emotions, so I made this simple photo-less spread to journal about my first week back. I chose die cuts that express my state of mind (more coffee, haha!) to decorate the tag and used stamps to make borders on the right side. This spread came together very quickly and left lots of space for me to write about my first week adventures.”
I love what she did with the bottom of this page so much! All the heart eyes!
Ria made a beautiful clean layout in her coffee journal. She says ”
I actually have a coffee journal so it was a pleasant surprise to find a lot of coffee related goodies in our kits. I started by gathering all the coffee themed ephemera, but I purposefully kept the design very minimal because I wanted to have more space for my journaling.”
She commented that latte art always makes for great photographs and I could not agree more!
She made great use of the coffee sentiments on the Book Club stamp sets!
Candy made a page with a great coffee selfie. I love the way she layered the patterned papers and used the ephemera on the page.
Candy says “This page was a lot of fun to put together because I LOVE COFFEE! I also love tea but I have to say I love coffee more. ? I used some pattern paper and cut them down to a TN size, lots of coffee drinking related die cuts, and a photo. So easy!”
I mixed it up a little for my page. I used the coffee ring paper on the left and cut down a page protector full of 2×2 squares and punched holes in it to slide in my Traveller’s notebook.
I added some journalling and stickers to get my story down on the page. I love alpha stickers and am always so excited to see all the different kinds in my kits.
I filled my pockets with photos and ephemera and stickers to finish up the layout. I love having different layers in my album so adding transparent stickers or diecut shapes lets the pattern below shine through.
