Hey, Daisies, and welcome to another TN Tuesday! This week’s theme is “brown and gold,” and it was so easy to create something in that theme with the items in the Book Club kits.  Now that I’m back at school, time is short – but this layout came together so quickly and easily! And I have to say, I kind of love the simplicity.  Even if I’d had hours more to work on it, I don’t know that I’d change anything.

Each month in my Simple Dori, I have a “currently” page: a page to document what I’m reading, eating, watching, planning, etc. for that month. Here are a few photos of my finished layout:

There’s not a ton of embellishment here because I didn’t think it was needed – those little birds just stand out and are so cute!  I didn’t want to hide them in any way.

Have you joined in on the sketch challenge this month? There is still time! The guidelines for the challenge are easy and you can create your design based on the sketch using any size or medium you feel comfortable with!  Here are the guidelines:

1) Create a spread inspired by the sketch.

2) Post in one of the following social media sites during the challenge period: your Instagram account or the Cocoa Daisy Memory Keeping or Planner Fans Facebook private groups

3) Include the hashtag #cdsketchchallenge so that we can track submissions.

The contest will run from Sept 8 – Sept 18. The $10 store credit winner will be chosen in a random drawing from all qualifying entries and announced on Friday, Sept 20th.
