Concentric Shapes

Hey, everyone! Jil and I are here today to share our pages using concentric shapes. I love how Cocoa Daisy helps me think and create out of the box and out of my creative comfort zone.

I loved how this month’s kits had these super cute tags included in the die-cuts. For each tag, I decided to create mini circle clusters on them and embellished each cluster with the glitter dotted enamel stickers. I love the simple, minimalistic look and can’t wait to use them in my scrapbook.

Now, let’s take a look at Jil’s amazing layout. Here’s what she has to say:

Here’s my layout using the Autumn Whimsy kit. My circles are punched from the pattern paper, layered over the circle die cuts, and topped with a punched leaf, a bit of stitching, and in some cases a sequin. I combined letter stickers from last month’s kit with alpha stamps from this month–a perfect match! I’m trying out the 9X12 size so I can include a few full-page layouts in my Project Life album.

Detail shot of my title, which is embellished with puffy sticker leaves and a messy stitched frame.

I mixed some puffy stickers into my circle clusters. Note that cute snail. I also loved used the gold printed vellum, especially since I cut gold leaves from the ribbon-trim and scattered them around each cluster.

Cluster along the side. I also embellished around the circles with pearls from the kit and dots of my stamping ink.
