Hello ,
here I am again for another tn tuesday!
I don’t know if you noticed but there are some beautiful and useful stamps in the October’s memory keeping kits and if you don’t know how to use them this is the right place!
Today Kristine, Jil and I have focused on the alphabet stamp contained in the tn memorykeeping kit and above all how to use it to create the titles of your layouts!
I immediately go to the photos of Kristine’s layout and to her explanation.
One of the first things I do in my new Simple Dori each month is set up my gratitude pages.I was so excited to use the alphas stamps this time ,and thought it would be fun to emboss them in gold to complement the opposite page’s art and really get into the fall state of mind. It was so ,so easy to do and really adds a pop to this otherwise simple layout.?
-> I’ve never tried the embossing technique but I would say it’s time to try!
And here is the Jil layout:
I used the woodgrain page in the Traveler’s Notebook for this spread about my new candied molasses candle. I stamped my title on pumpkin-y orange paper I made with distress in,a good match for the orange of the die cuts and tab . Pulled in a little orange seam binding for my tag.
I stamped with the outline and filled just some of the letters by stamping the solid alphas with green, orange and brown ink.So many possibilities with this great alphabet set!
And we came to me!
Unfortunately I waited until the last to make a layout because I hoped my October kit would arrive but it was not possible, you will have to follow my social profiles to see how I will use the alphabet stamp!
But I couldn’t leave you without even an idea so I used an alphabet from my collection for this super-fast layout.
Just a nice background, a photo and a title, add a caption, a diecut and it’s done!
I hope to see so many of your layouts with these stamps.
Be creative!
Evy
