Hello Daisies! Lisa here showing off my fun dashboard/covers I made for my October Planner. I have simplified my setup a bit the last couple of months but one thing I never skimp on are the dashboards or covers for my inserts. They are a must have for me!
First up I used one of the A5 dashboards out of the dashboard kit and cut it to size for my A6 inserts. I scored and folded the edge over and then added a couple of die cuts to give it a bit of depth. So Easy when you have the dashboard already designed for you! I added a tab at the top and this covers my A6 dori which I have been using for a gratitude journal.
On the back I trimmed down on of the larger pocket cards from the pocket memory keeping kit that coordinates well and added a strip of a metallic wash I had in my stash. It turned out perfect!
The next dashboard was sooooo much fun to make! After I cut a pice of white card stock to size, I misted it with a couple of misters I had in my stash to give it just a bit of color. I used a doily from my stash and cut it to fit on the top and bottom corner on my card stock to give a bit more dimension. Then I used a page of the amazing notepad that came in the kit and cut it into strips. Next I used one of the stickers from the Travelers notebook Memory Keeping kit and cut it apart so I could put a section of the quote on each color rectangle. I adhered them down and added the fairy the top from the same sticker. To finish it off I used a die cut leaf along the side of the rectangles to tie it in and glued a pom pom border to the bottom. By far one of my most favorites ever!!
Last but certainly not least is another favorite! Lots of color going on here but I love it! I used one of the papers from one of the memory kits and cut and folded it to size. I used the one doily that had the paint splatters on it to use as a base for my design. I used the “I am a Leaf ” sticker for the center and then used various leaves from die cuts and the free printable to add a leaf border around the saying. I added a flower sticker and a mushroom cut from the free printables to finish it off and ta da its done! So easy if you have a bit of time for fussy cutting.
I hope you enjoyed these fun dashboards and hope I inspired you to think outside of the box when creating your 🙂
