All the heart-eyes for February! Planner set-up time…

Hi lovely people!

It’s Rachel here, and I’m excited to share my February planner and journal set up with you! I’m using a personal Himalyan Salt Foxy Fix alongside my usual Erin Condren hourly.

It’s no secret that I absolutely love Simon, the Cocoa Daisy mascot – #simonspotting should be an Olympic sport in my opinion! – and I’ve loved including lots of him in my planner this month. I pulled out a few things from older kits too – how perfect is that pouch and tassel?

My monthly view this month has a brief overview of recurring events and some out of the ordinary ones too. Keeping this here is perfect for when I’m away from my desk and can’t check in on my Erin Condren planner.

I was so pleased to find planner tab stickers in the kits this month – I used them in a similar way to December, to mark the different weeks and make it easy to flip to them quickly.

This month’s ‘today’ page marker is much simpler – I loved the acetate with the balloons and hearts on so much and so I created this simple page marker with the ‘to do’ die cut, and added some sticky notes so they’re close at hand.

My inbox is where I capture any thoughts, ideas, to do items or anything else that comes to mind throughout the day. I follow a rough version of the ‘Getting Things Done’ method and find this helps to organise all those random things that come through my mind! I used the free printable to make the pages, and then the Valentine’s Digital Kit for the acetate and notecard.

Part of my daily habits this year is gratitude journaling – recording at least 3 things a day in a Hobonichi A6 Techo which I’m grateful for. I decided to switch out the decoration for February, and kept it very simple just adding some paper and a Simon notecard (of course!) I also laminated the A6 notecard to make a pencil board – a firm surface to write on – and am really pleased with how it came together.

If you’d like to see more of my planner set up, please take a look at my YouTube channel and subscribe – there’s lots of content on there, and a full flipthrough of this planner will be published too!

Until next time lovely people, enjoy your planning!
