Today, I’m going to show you 3 ways to use the striped, week-on-one-page insert in your planner. It’s my favorite part of the Cocoa Daisy Planner Kit. Seeing all the pretty colors on one page just makes me happy!
First, try using it to plan your weekly meals:
List your meals on the right. Write out your grocery list on the left.
Second, record something meaningful about each day:
On the left side, there is room to expand your thoughts. Focus on something that happened that week (as shown above).
Other things I’ve heard people document are: their moods, news headlines of the day, positive affirmations, exercise and/or chore schedules, and funny things that your kid(s) say.
Third, try journaling about something fun. In February of this year, I created a list of random things I love from A to Z:
Use the space on the left side of the page to write more about something on your list (as shown below).
Last month, I chose to center my list on food. During my COVID-19 self-quarantine, I gained a few pounds. Who didn’t? Ha, ha, ha! I enjoyed every bite. Here is my list from A to G:
