Good morning loves. It’s sunny and warm here in Missoula, Montana. It’s also officially summer!! Hoping you are enjoying the new site and especially the changes in the gallery. Before I highlight some of my favorite finds in the gallery this month, I want to give someone some special attention. Jennifer Halowaty, or sillypea as she is known in the forum hails from Colorado. Here’s a little about Jennifer:
Jennifer Holowaty – sillypea
Living in a busy Colorado suburb, I share space with my craft tolerant husband of 19 years, my two boys, Ben (14) & Andrew (11) and a very spoiled pointer puppy named Sophia who rivals me for the title of queen of the castle. I’ve been scrapbooking since right before my wedding in 1995, when I went to a Creative Memories party and instantly bought the “Had to Have it All’ kit and haven’t slowed down since. My board name, sillypea, has nothing to do with the famous veggie craft site, but is a nickname I had for my boys as babies and that I used as inspiration for a business name when I created custom scrapbooks for others – Silly Pea Productions. I no longer craft for others, but wouldn’t trade the experience and lessons it taught me about this lovely craft. I truly enjoy every element of this hobby and create many pages every year and find it balances out my very geeky accounting & finance day job. Outside of work & scrapbooking, I love reading daily, although quite slowly I have to admit as I am a lover of words, and I’m also dabbling in writing my own series of novels that hopefully someday will be read by the masses. Thanks for taking the time to read about me and feel free to check out my blog that is mostly crafting & some words of wisdom or happy moments, follow me and my strange assortment of boards on pintrest, or follow me on Facebook where it’s mostly quotes and snarkiness if you dare. LOL

Here are some of my favorites from Jennifer.
I adore her fresh clean style with a sprinkling of sass. She is especially amazing with embellishments and title work. Her obvious joy in her family shows through her stories/journaling. She captures the little moments in life which I really enjoy reading about. Thank you Jennifer for being part of our Cocoa Daisy community!!
Okay, on to a few beauties in the gallery. It’s really hard to choose which ones to highlight.
This layout by Aliza really struck me. I have two teenage boys who are stumbling, falling into adulthood. It’s a hard time for them. They are straddling the fence between boyhood/manhood and it’s awkward and uncomfortable some days. I really enjoy how Aliza scrapbooks about these things. It’s also a great design!
This one by Ami is so pretty and fun. I adore the colors and mixed patterns and the fresh look of the black.
One more for the month. Love this mini book by Lisa F. She colored the black and white photos with alcohol markers. Lisa is so creative.
Keep posting ladies! I so enjoy your inspiring artwork.

Some very awesome projects in there, and great inspiration too…♥
Congrats on the showcase, Jennifer!
Beautiful work all around, ladies!
