We have had the most AMAZING Guest Designers here at Cocoa Daisy. I feel so lucky I get to ask such talented individuals to play with our kits and put their own unique twist on them.

It’s not the easiest task, as a Guest Designer, you might get a kit that is out of your comfort zone. I’ve never had any of our Guests tell me that, but I know so and so tends to do softer pastels when they are choosing their favorite color palette. Or so and so really likes bright and vivid. It’s kind of luck of the draw because I don’t know what the kit is going to look like until long after I’ve asked a designer. But sheer talent assures me that any guest we have will knock any kit out of the park anyway.

However, sometimes the stars align perfectly with a Guest Designer and a kit collection perfectly suited to their style and color affinity.

My name is Cassie. I am a wife and a mom and a sports fanatic. I live in Kansas City, Missouri. I am a total homer. I love everything about the Midwest. I have two kids. My son is almost 11 and my daughter is 16. You see my daughter in most of my layouts because I steal her Instagram selfies. That girl loves to take pictures of herself. My son is into video games and science. He would rather discuss the periodic table than take selfies. We take a lot of field trips. Mostly to eat food. Just pick a place on the map and let’s jump in the car and go. I planned our entire last vacation using hashtags on Instagram. You can find some really great places! I love paper. I love taking pictures. You can find me at Paper Issues during the day and in my recliner yelling at the TV at night. I’ve never met a sport I didn’t like. My scrapbook style is definitely all over the place. I love layering and embellishments. I am super excited to work with the Cocoa Daisy kit this month!

1. What is your most creative time?
In the middle of the afternoon when I have so many other things I should be doing. That’s usually when my mojo kicks in.

3. If you were in a Rock N’ Roll band, what would your job be?

My job would definitely be the person in the back cleaning up and making sure that everything runs smoothly. I am not lead singer material.
4. Did you ever want to change your name? If so, to what?
Never. I love it. Even when my mother yells my full name. I still love it.

5. If your life was a movie, what actress would play you?
My Bio-pic would definitely be one with many different actresses playing many different roles. I’m a mom and a wife, a business owner and a sports fanatic. Those are very different people. With me, you get many hats.

6. What’s your favorite accessory?
Always a Coach bag. Always.

7. How do you cheer yourself up?
My kids never fail to make me happy on a cloudy day.

8. If you could have a luncheon with any three people (real or fictitious/ from any time period, dead or alive), which three people would you choose and why?
My family.The 4 of us have a great time together. We laugh at the same things. We have a lot of fun. We can talk about anything or nothing. They have great table manners and that’s important too.

9. What food would describe your style?
Seafood Paella. There’s so much going on and you keep finding things that you didn’t see before.

10. What is “dressed up” for you?
Jeans and high heels. I love shoes. Well, I love to buy shoes. Mostly during the day I am barefoot. I could run a marathon in heels though.
