Hello sweet Daisies, I hope you are all well!
Today I am sharing some tips and tricks for adding depth and dimension to your cards, (or any crafty project really) as well as how I make some of my paper flowers!I’ve also prepared a video tutorial for you all, so go grab a cuppa and let’s get settled in.
I love my projects to have lots of texture and dimension.I created this card from the Ashton Court, February kit.
I have used the white cardstock from this months kit as my card base and added many layers of my fave papers as backing. As you can see I have distressed my edges to give a ruffled appearance.
By using foam tape dots between my layers of paper, gives the appearance of my card lifting.Love, love lots of layers!
This month I’ve been making lots of paper blooms on my projects. As you will see shortly in my video they are so simple and fast to make, yet really effective for adding detail to your project.I was super happy how these turned out.All you really need is a flower punch or die to make these. They are a great way for using up your paper scraps.
So without further to do here is my video.I hope it inspires you to create your own masterpiece, whether you use these techniques for your card making, scrapbooking or snailmailing.
Until next time,Kylie xo
