What Inspires You???

Hi, It’s Lisa here again today.

I’m kind of following on from yesterday’s blog post. If you missed that, then it’s here for you.

I created this 12×12 page here.

The post is all about how the golden leaves inspired this page. But after I made the page, I was so happy with it and it came together so easily, so I decided to kind of scraplift my own design and create another 12×12. I just enjoyed myself so much. This time though I filmed the process of this page being made which you can watch here.

The page turned out like this.

I used the same design concept. The white 12×12 and the wide strip of patterned paper across the centre. The photo(s) in the centre with the design surrounding.

Both pages I wanted the design to overlap the photo bringing everything together and then I finished this page off with stickers and die cuts from the Classified kit.

Such a quick page to make, but so much fun.

Have you ever scraplifted one of your own pages too? It’s a really fun way to get inspiration. Why don’t you take a look through some of your older pages and pick out some favourites. Ask yourself what elements really stand out and why you like them so much and go from there.  It could be a favourite technique, it could be a favourite stamp set you used or like in my case, you really liked the design.

I hope you like this idea. I know this always helps me.Happy Scrapping!
