Hello everyone, Katherine here with some fall inspiration! Today I am going to show you some Thanksgiving decor that I made for my aunt. Happiness is when I can combine my love of home decor and my CD scrapbook supplies.
Come and take a look at how I used this months kit to create a Thanksgiving table scape.
I bought an unfinished pine board from Home Depot and stained it a dark brown. After it dried I drew an image of a pumpkin on the unfinished side and cut the image out with a jigsaw. The edges were a little rough so I sanded the front and back side. My aunt is using them as place cards so I stamped each one with a wood burner that I bought at Michaels. Each guest can write on the back of the unfinished wood what they are thankful for. I layered different ephemera over a tag and a leaf that I cut out with my Silhouette machine. This project doesn’t have to be on wood, you could use this on a hostess gift, card or packaging.
Hopefully this has inspired you to do a little fall or Thanksgiving decorating that is off the page! Please share your ideas on social media and don’t forget to tag us!
XOXO-
Katherine
