Pocket Pages with Lemon Grove

Hi! Odessa here bringing you some pocket page inspiration with the Lemon Grove kits. The colours are so fun and the patterns are so pretty I have been having so much fun with them! Today Jil and I are sharing some pocket pages we’ve made with the kits.

Jil made this cheery page using the Lemon Grove kits. She used journal cards, the puffy alphas, washi tape and all sorts of stickers, even from the planner kit. Does anyone else sneak those little planner stickers into their layouts? I know I do.

I love Jil’s typewritten list on this page, it looks so good! Jil’s layouts are always full of little touches that really make paper magic! From well placed strips of washi to tiny dots and splatter, every detail is perfect.

Jil also punched some doily circles and tags that work so well on this page!

The pops of yellow all over the page really make it so fun and the splatters really pull it all together. I’m feeling inspired to pay more attention to every detail after looking at this page.

I went for bold blues and some yellows on my page. I’ve been working on my everyday photos in 6×8 albums this year which is a great place to just have a ton of fun! Balance is always important to me so I have blue both in the lower left corner and upper right corner to anchor the bright tones on the rest of the spread.

This 4×6 card turned into a little layout of it’s own within the layout. I used one of the journal cards from the Lemon Grove Memory Keeping kit and added a focal embellishment from the Classified Kit. I then started working around it with all sorts of stickers from the Planner Kit and Memory Keeping Sticker set. My fav on the page is that little geotag with the plus signs all over it. It’s so cute! I used the hole punched out from the centre as part of an embellishment cluster on the label.

When I was unpacking the Lemon Grove kits I wasn’t sure how I was going to use the stencil. I’m not really big on paint or mixed media so I decided to cut it down to 3×4 and layer it in a pocket! I placed a journal card from the Memory Keeping kit behind it and added a chipboard sticker on top for a nice pop of yellow.

Jil and I clearly share a love of embellishing. I hope it inspires you when you’re working on your own layouts!
